For most of us, we remember the television show Wonder Woman from the 1970’s, starring Lynda Carter in the role. Most recently Gal Gadot has taken the leading role, but here in the Heber-Overgaard community, we have our own wonder woman, and the star is Carol Stant. American Legion, Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce, HOCRN, Light-Hearted Ladies, Rim County Senior Center, and so many other non-profits have the privilege to call Carol Stant one of their volunteers. In a community boasting over 50 non-profit organizations, all operated by volunteers; someone has to organize events, and those fortunate enough to have Carol on the volunteer roster can expect magic. No one really knows how she does it, it just calmly gets taken care of and on the day of the event, everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
