ENCORE Thrift Emporium, better known as Macy’s on the Mountain, is one of four thrift store’s serving the Heber-Overgaard community. Staffed with long-term volunteers, the store is known for it’s quality merchandise at a reasonable price. The store is always clean, well merchandised, loaded with bargains, and staffed with the nicest people you will ever find. This long-standing non-profit funds the fine arts programs at our local schools, choir, band, orchestra, robotics, and the art program. You really owe it to yourself to attend one of the musical events put on by our local schools; you will be impressed by the talent. The Golden Mustang program, which is modeled after the Golden Rule (people should treat others as they would like to be treated), is also supported by Encore. And finally, graduates from our local Mogollon High School can apply for scholarships funded by Encore.
